La Foncière seeks fresh capital

The aim of the capital increase is to finance ongoing construction projects, informs the fund management Investissements Fonciers. The mortgage burden, which has increased significantly as a result of recent investments in real estate, can thus also be reduced. This would enable new acquisitions in the future.

It further states that the capital increase is to be implemented by issuing new share certificates with subscription rights of La Foncière. The fund's custodian bank, the Cantonal Bank of Geneva, will be responsible for implementing the capital measure.

The fund plans to provide further details following the release of results for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2019. (ah)
