Akara Diversity PK completes capital increase
The Akara Diversity PK real estate fund received funds of around CHF 129 million in its latest capital increase.

The issue was the fifth capital increase of the real estate fund launched in October 2016 and closed with oversubscription, according to the fund management company.
There are now 903,210 fund units in circulation, distributed among 99 investors. As part of the capital increase, 16 new investors were added, says Karl Theiler, CEO of Akara Funds. The new shares will be paid on December 20, 2019.
The fund intends to use the fresh money to invest in real estate assets and projects throughout Switzerland and to reduce short-term debt.
The Akara Diversity PK is aimed in particular at pension funds as well as social security and compensation funds. Investments are made in existing properties, but also in development and construction projects with residential and commercial uses throughout Switzerland. The properties are mainly held directly.
