New center manager for the Mall of Switzerland
Jessica Janssen will take over the management of the Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon (LU), Switzerland's second largest shopping and leisure center, in December 2020.

Jessica Janssen (54) succeeds Peter Triner (62), who will officially end his work for the Mall of Switzerland in the fall to pursue a new career. Patric Drobner will take over center management until Janssen joins the company. Drobner is Chief Operating Officer of LSGI Suisse, which is responsible for center and asset management at the mall.
Triner and his team have helped to "consistently increase the mall's sales and visitor numbers," Drobner said. He said they were convinced that with Janssen, the success and popularity could be further expanded. The Lucerne native is an economist who has held management positions at Globus, Beldona and Coca-Cola, among others, and last year she completed a degree in real estate management. "The Mall of Switzerland still has enormous potential," she is convinced.
The Mall of Switzerland says it has had "quite a positive six months" despite the Corona pandemic. Since the end of the lockdown, visitor numbers have increased by 5% compared to the previous year. In recent months, revenue has also increased by 10% year-over-year, it said. "We are very pleased with the performance, especially in these difficult times," Drobner said. New store openings have included Tres Amigos, United Colors of Benetton, Cecil & Street One and Petfriends.ch, he said. (ah)
