Dübendorf: "Younic" project with over 200 apartments under construction
The UBS fund Sima has announced the start of construction on the "Younic" development in Dübendorf (ZH). Only sustainable concrete (Zirkulit) will be used in the construction of the 228 apartments.

The UBS Property Fund Swiss Mixed Sima acquired the "Younic" residential development in Dübendorf in summer 2022. The project comprises two building complexes with a total of 228 apartments and a parking garage with 150 parking spaces. Only sustainable concrete (Zirkulit) will be used in the construction, bored piles will serve as energy storage and heat will be recovered from the waste water. According to UBS, the property, which is to be certified in accordance with the SNBS Gold Standard, is now under construction: excavation has been completed and the shell construction and insertion work is underway. The shell of the building is expected to be completed by summer 2024, after which the interior work will begin. The apartments could therefore be handed over to the tenants in spring 2025. (aw)
