Préverenges: Les Prés du Château project turns out to be smaller

Almost ten years after the start of initial planning, Ina Invest as owner, Implenia as developer and the municipality of Préverenges (VD) have presented the revised development plan for the "Les Prés du Château" residential project.
On the Grand Record site on the edge of the village of Préverenges, a quarter with high-quality apartments, space for local service providers and outdoor areas is to be created. A dozen buildings with a total of 85 apartments are planned, with the mix ranging from 2.5-room to 5.5-room apartments.
The first project from 2014 was rejected because it was considered too dense and too high and not sufficiently integrated into the surroundings. In the revision, the arrangement of the planned development has now been changed and one building has been omitted, among other things, which, according to those involved, will result in a reduction in density from 1.16 to 0.77.
The development plan will remain open to the public until the end of September 2023 and could be approved by the canton in mid-2024. Construction of the first apartments is set to begin in 2026. (ah)
