Sirea: Christian Schuster new Chairman of the Board of Directors
Stefan Fahrländer is handing over the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Training and Further Education Institute for Real Estate Valuation to the Deputy Managing Director of Immobilien Basel Stadt.
The Swiss Institute of Real Estate Appraisal (Sirea) has a new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Christian Schuster was unanimously elected to this position at the Annual General Meeting on December 7. He replaces Stefan Fahrländer, who had been Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2015.
Schuster holds a doctorate in law and is head of the Legal Services & Building Rights department as well as deputy managing director of Immobilien Basel-Stadt. He is a real estate valuer CAS FH, senior expert for examinations in the field of property valuation and a member of the Valuation Commission of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. He is also a lecturer at Curem at the University of Zurich.
The Swiss Institute of Real Estate Valuation sees itself as a central point of contact for the training and further education of real estate professionals and interested parties from the business world with a connection to valuation. For over 20 years, Sirea has been offering CAS and MAS courses at six Swiss universities in Burgdorf, Muttenz, Horw, St. Gallen, Mendrisio and Winterthur. (aw)
