According to Migros Eastern Switzerland, the existing locations of the unattended Teo shopping format in Bürglen, Ohringen and the Neuhegi and Lokstadt districts of Winterthur are successful. The company has therefore decided to set up further Teo outlets. The cooperative recently submitted a planning application to the city of St.Gallen for another store in the Riethüsli district.
The store is to move into the first floor of the residential and commercial property at Teufener Strasse 151 and, at 90 square meters, will be almost twice as large as most of the existing stores. Further locations are to follow, it is said. To date, almost all self-service stores of this format have been free-standing. (aw)
