Two new tenants for SFPI building in downtown Basel
Swiss Finance & Property Investment (SFPI) has concluded two rental agreements for the property at Steinenvorstadt 67 in the center of Basel. Firstly, a restaurant concept is renting space on three floors, and secondly, a fitness center is moving in.
Desperado Basel AG rents the first floor, the first mezzanine floor and the first basement floor with a total of just under 1,000 sqm for its concept, which is already established at seven locations throughout Switzerland. In addition, a "well-known Swiss provider of health-oriented strength training" is to find space on the first and second floors on around 750 sqm.
Both leases were concluded for the long term. SFPI wants to redesign the facade of the building in the pedestrian zone and also remodel the old cinema hall located there. The building application is to be submitted this year. (mr)
