Foppa Group buys office building in Chur
The Foppa Group in Chur has expanded its property portfolio: the family business recently acquired the building of the electronics company TEM AG on Triststrasse in the Graubünden capital; no details of the purchase price are available. According to Toni Foppa, co-owner of the group alongside his brother Gion, the company, which specializes in the development and production of control systems for heating, air-conditioning and ventilation applications, will remain in the building as a tenant and occupy 5,000 square meters of the total available 8,000 square meters of floor space there in the long term.

A further 1,500 square meters have already been leased to various companies (Itexa AG, Raytec Systems, Hostettler Autotechnik AG), as has the small amount of residential space; for the remaining space, the aim is to attract regional and national companies as tenants for the "good location", says Toni Foppa. The conversion of the exhibition, office, storage and production areas to meet requirements will be tackled as soon as commercial agreement has been reached with suitable partners. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the fall; the target move-in date is spring 2016. (bw)
