EWZ plans new building in Zurich West
EWZ - Elektrizitätswerk der Stadt Zürich is planning a new main location for its distribution networks business unit on the west side of the Pfingstweid neighborhood park in Zurich West. As reported by the "Tages-Anzeiger", a maximum construction sum of 95 million Swiss francs is expected.
According to plans, a total of 600 workplaces are to be housed and concentrated at the new site. These are currently still located in various places in the city, including in third-party leases, writes the "Tages-Anzeiger".
The invitation to tender for the study contract was recently initiated, the statement continues. Selected teams are to submit their detailed plans to the EWZ by February 2016. Meanwhile, the newly designed Pfingstweidpark is expected to be completed this September. (mr)
