Swiss Life REIM buys in Hamburg
Swiss Life REIM (France) has acquired the office complex "Neuer Dovenhof" in the center of Hamburg for the special fund AIF DELTA IMMO (MAIF Group) in an off-market deal. The seller is an investment fund of Kildare Partners. Corpus Sireo Asset Management Commercial handled the acquisition for Swiss Life REIM.

The Neue Dovenhof is located in the Kontorhausviertel district in the southeastern part of Hamburg's old town and comprises a total of around 22,000 sqm of rental space. The up to ten-story representative red brick building ensemble on the corner of Brandstwiete and Kleine Reichenstraße was built between 1991 and 1994. The architects were Kleffel, Köhnholdt and Gundermann (now KPW Papay Warncke und Partner Architekten). Parts of the building at Kleine Reichenstraße 7 are listed as historical monuments.
The building is currently leased to 30 tenants, including international companies such as Marsh, Hays, Michael Page and Aareal Bank. There is also retail space on the first floor.
The current acquisition is the first transaction that has been realized with the support of Corpus Sireo. The company has been a subsidiary of Swiss Life since 2014. Roy Brümmer, Managing Director Corpus Sireo Asset Management Commercial, says: "This joint purchase is exemplary for our cross-border activities, which we now want to push further."
