Belgium: New owner for shopping center in Liège
A real estate investment fund managed by Benson Elliot has acquired the "Espace Sain Michel" property in the historic city center of Liège.
The property is located in the immediate vicinity of Place Saint Lambert; the landmark building comprises around 20,000 sqm of retail space and 5,000 sqm of office space. The complex consists of four interconnected buildings including a pedestrian zone. Retail tenants of the almost fully leased properties include H&M, C&A, Delhaize and WE, while office tenants include EDF Luminus and Le Forem.
BNP Paribas Real Estate represented the seller, an institutional investment manager from Ireland, in the transaction. (ah)
