Implenia builds in French-speaking Switzerland
Implenia has been awarded two major building construction contracts in French-speaking Switzerland as a total contractor. The total order value is CHF 140 million.
Implenia is building an administration building in Geneva that will be home to the "Health Campus" and the Global Fund in the future. The organization was set up in 2002 by the G8 countries to fight AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis.
On behalf of CSA Real Estate Switzerland Commercial, an investment group of Credit Suisse Investment Foundation, Implenia is acting as the total contractor for the new administration building with a floor space of 25,500 sqm and two basement levels. Work began at the beginning of November 2015 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
Implenia is building the new headquarters of the Boschung engineering group, including a technology center, on the Aéropol site in Payerne. Production workshops, offices, a staff restaurant, an information center and a showroom are being built on an area of around 10,000 square meters. Work will start in January 2016 and is expected to last until July 2017. (ah)
