Immofonds sells Tecan building in Männedorf
Immofonds has further optimized its portfolio and recently sold a commercial property in Männedorf in the canton of Zurich. The office and manufacturing building on Seestrasse had been built by the fund in 2001 and is leased to the Tecan Group.
The sale in Männedorf (ZH) increases the share of residential properties in the fund's assets to over 90 percent. "The concentration is in line with the fund's strategic focus on residential properties," Immofonds informs. At the same time, the listed Swiss real estate fund announced figures from the first half of the 2015/2016 fiscal year. According to the figures, the market value of the properties remained unchanged at 1.337 billion Swiss francs despite numerous transactions.
In addition to two completed new construction projects in Adlikon near Regensdorf (ZH) and Muri (AG), which were transferred to the portfolio, Immofonds acquired a 6,933 sqm plot of land in Aarburg. On the land area, the construction of two apartment buildings with 95 apartments and 1,643 sqm of retail and office space is planned. Occupation is scheduled for 2018. In addition, the Belago project was secured in Ermatingen (TG), which comprises four apartment buildings with 40 apartments and will be completed in 2017.
In the period under review, Immofonds, which was founded in 1955, also sold two properties: in Rorschach (SG), a property with three apartment buildings acquired in 1960, and in Mühlethurnen (BE), an apartment building built in 2010. (mr)
