Solothurn: Migros becomes tenant on the Öufi site

Sasolim AG is planning a modern new building project on the Öufi site in Solothurn. Retail, service and office space is planned close to the city. Privera AG will be responsible for the future center management.

The 10,000-square-meter Öufi site is located at the corner of Bielstrasse and Fabrikstrasse and has been well connected since the construction of the western bypass in 2008. With the "Bielstrasse 80" project, a modern new building with space for retail, services and offices is to be realized in place of the current large production halls. After "intensive negotiations", Privera AG was able to win the Migros Aare cooperative as a tenant, according to a media release.

For Dr. Raoul Stampfli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sasolim AG, this confirms the attractiveness of the location: "Tenants looking for presence and frequency are in the right place with us, because we are located at the busiest traffic circle in the region. The proximity to commuters is an advantage that should not be underestimated."

In addition to a Migros supermarket, a FlowerPower fitness center will open in the Solothurn project . Additional space for service providers and/or specialty stores as well as office space is available, according to Privera. Corresponding negotiations with potential tenants, including Denner, are underway. (mr)
