Another foundation stone laid in Greencity
Project developer Losinger Marazzi, investor Swiss Life and the architectural firm Diener & Diener (Basel) celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for 204 rental apartments in Greencity in Zurich South yesterday, Tuesday.

To mark the official start of construction, a cartouche was filled with contemporary evidence and set in concrete in the construction area of the roughly eight-hectare site. Following the initial laying of the foundation stone for the foundation and cooperative apartments in September 2015, Zurich's sustainable Greencity neighborhood is hereby progressing one stage further: two-thirds of the total of 729 apartments are now under construction.
60 apartments are being built on site B3N, and a further 144 rental apartments including studio apartments are being realized on site B4N. The total of 204 apartments directly on Manegg-Platz will be joined by 1,120 square meters of commercial space. These new rental apartments should be ready for occupancy at the turn of the year 2017/2018. The Greencity neighborhood is being built in accordance with the target provisions of the 2,000-watt society.
The total contractor Losinger Marazzi AG plans to complete the new sustainable Greencity neighborhood in stages by 2020. A total of 729 apartments will be built, divided into 204 rental apartments, 295 condominium apartments and 230 cooperative apartments. (mr)
