At the new location, the museum will be able to significantly expand its exhibition concept on an area of 300 square meters; it will therefore also be given the new name "Swiss Finance Museum". The new museum will include a multimedia exhibition illustrating the origins of the economic system and the importance of the financial market and its infrastructure for our daily lives.

Furthermore, the existing, world's most important collection of historical securities of the "Museum Wertpapierwelt" will also be on display at the future location. It will have its own space within the exhibition area and will be staged in changing thematic exhibitions. According to SIX, this will create a new "reference site for the history and functioning of the financial industry and the Swiss financial center". (ah)
