Lucerne: Swisscom moves into Mattenhof
Swisscom will occupy an office complex on the Mattenhof site in Lucerne South from 2019. Around 400 employees are to be brought together at the new site.
The new Swisscom location will have around 7,500 square meters of space on five floors. "The new building impresses with its modern, highly functional architecture and is ideally located thanks to good transport links," says Jöri Engel, Head of Swisscom Real Estate.
The Mattenhof quarter developed by Mobimo is scheduled for completion in winter 2018/2019, with Swisscom's move expected to take place in September 2019. The company then plans to give up its three current buildings, Floraweg 2, Geissensteinring 45 and Weinberglistrasse 4, as office locations. (ah)
