Zurich: AXA Life sells stake in "Portikon
AXA Leben AG is selling its stake in Acron Helvetia VII Immobilien AG, which holds the "Portikon" office property in Zurich-Opfikon. The buyer is the newly founded Acron Swiss Premium Assets AG.
AXA Leben has held a stake amounting to 326,050 registered shares in Acron Helvetia VII Immobilien AG. The acquirer of the shares, Acron Swiss Premium Assets AG, based in Zug, now holds 59.28 percent of the shares. Acron Swiss Premium Assets is a newly founded company whose purpose is to acquire, hold and sell domestic and foreign interests in real estate.
The investment property of Acron Helvetia VII is the seven-story and fully leased office property "Portikon" at the Glattpark location in Zurich-Opfikon. The atrium building was fully completed in September 2009. The main tenants are the international pharmaceutical and healthcare companies Baxter Healthcare and Takeda Pharmaceuticals International GmbH. Together, they rent approximately 90 percent of the available rental space until 2019. "Portikon" is one of the largest properties in Switzerland designed and built according to the Minergie-P standard. (ah)
