Zug: Siemens builds new office and production buildings
Strabag AG Switzerland is building an office and a production building for Siemens in Zug. The contract, worth around CHF 109 million, is being carried out by Strabag as general contractor, and the client is the Group's real estate division, Siemens Real Estate.
The seven-story building offers 31,700 square meters per floor - in addition to office space - for technical, seminar and conference rooms as well as an underground parking garage.
The production building comprises production halls, laboratories and office space on four floors and 24,000 square meters of floor space. An automated transport and storage system will be installed in the basement. Both structures are scheduled for completion in June 2018. During the design and construction phase, as well as later in the operational phase, the client and Strabag are using BIM.5D®.
