Zurich: CS plans to sell the "Leuenhof
According to a report in the "Handelszeitung", Credit Suisse wants to part with its "Leuenhof" property at Bahnhofstrasse 32.
However, a definitive decision has not yet been made, a spokesman for the major bank told the Handelszeitung. The reason for the intention to sell is overcapacity, because customers are increasingly being received at the neighboring headquarters on Paradeplatz. The planned sale is not intended to strengthen the balance sheet.
Credit Suisse had already sold the Peterhof, also known as Grieder-Haus, at Bahnhofstrasse 30, which is part of the same building complex, to the Swatch Group at the end of 2014. (ah)
