The additional 25 percent stake was acquired at market value effective July 1, 2016, SFPI says. The majority shareholding enables "a significantly better alignment of the property with SFPI's objectives". Furthermore, as of June 30, 2016, the property at Maienstrasse 2-12 in Winterthur was sold significantly above market value.

In addition, a further 769 square meters on the 1st floor of the Klausstrasse 4 property in Zurich were leased to a financial services provider. Furthermore, the 3rd floor of the Zeltweg 67 property in Zurich was leased to a dermatological group practice. This means that all the main rental areas have now been let.

Meanwhile, in SFPI's "Parco d'Oro" project, another apartment offering 170 square meters has been sold. Interest in the remaining five residential units is still good, SFPI says. Ascona and Ticino in general, not least with the opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, have "once again increasingly come to the fore as a potential second home for people from German-speaking Switzerland.
