Fundim announces new fund Realitim II
The Lausanne-based company Fundim SA, specialized in the development and management of collective investments in the real estate sector, announces the launch of the Realitim II SCPC Fund for subscription.
In 2011, Fundim SA launched Realitim I, the first collective investment vehicle for building rights in French-speaking Switzerland. In 2015, the company created the investment foundation Fondation Equitim, which focuses on the creation of affordable rental housing. Now Fundim announces the launch of the Realitim II SCPC fund. The fund, whose initial creation is planned at 100 million Swiss francs, assumes an annual net return of between 8 and 12 percent.
Manuel Leuthold strengthens the Fundim Board of Directors
At the same time, Fundim SA is strengthening its Board of Directors with an expert from the Swiss financial sector: Manuel Leuthold, who has been Chairman of the Board of compenswiss, the organization that manages the Swiss social security compensation funds (AVH/IV/EO), since January 1, 2016, will join the Board. Manuel Leuthold worked for UBS for 27 years, where he held various positions, in particular as Head of Corporate Clients and Institutional in Switzerland and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Division. Between 2012 and 2015, he worked for the Edmond de Rothschild Group.

The first investment vehicle, Realitim I, acquired a total of eight projects with 1,000 apartments and 25,000 square meters of commercial space. With Realitim II, the next step is to likewise target investors beyond the Lake Geneva region, particularly in German-speaking Switzerland, Moser said.
New Advisory Board
Manuel Leuthold joins the existing board members Anthony Collé and Olivier Klunge, both founders of Realitim I and II SCPC and the investment foundation Fondation Equitim. With the expansion of its Board of Directors, Fundim says it intends to "continue to develop innovative investment vehicles with strong added value." Fundim also announces the formation of an Advisory Board composed of two founders of the Realitim fund, namely François Dieu and Yves-Claude Aubert.
Fundim SA was created in 2015 through the spin-off from MK Group and the merger with Domicim-Foncia. It also advises Swiss institutions and family offices on their real estate development strategies. (mr)
