At the FlexOffice locations, members will in future be able to access the buildings, common areas or individual offices around the clock via smartphone. PropTech Sensorberg is providing both the necessary hardware and the software for opening doors and for the digital management of access authorizations.

Initially, the new cooperation will be tested in the two stores in the former Fraumünsterpost in Zurich and in Murifeld in Bern. The operator put both spaces into operation at the beginning of April. The other FlexOffice spaces in Basel at Barfüsserplatz (opening: 1st quarter 2020) and in Geneva in the Patio Plaza building (already opened) are also to be digitized by Sensorberg.

FlexOffice is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and startups, but also at large companies. Through digital access control, the operator of flexible office space aims to increase user comfort at its sites, while also making access management more efficient.

The company is planning additional branches in Lugano, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Winterthur and Zug, as well as a further branch in Zurich.
