Credit Suisse is launching a new working model following positive experiences with remote working during the Corona pandemic. In the future, employees will be able to choose which days they work in the office.

With its new global model, "The Way We Work," Credit Suisse says it wants to take account of the changing working habits and needs of its employees. The Corona pandemic has highlighted the benefits of remote working and face-to-face collaboration in the office, and the bank wants to give employees more flexibility and choice in their working hours in the future.

In future, therefore, the bank's Swiss employees will be able to decide for themselves, in consultation with their teams and superiors, how and from where they organize their working hours. The implementation of the initiative in Switzerland will be gradual and in line with the Federal Council's current home office recommendation, Credit Suisse said.

The importance of the office as a place to work will continue to play an important role in the future, Credit Suisse emphasizes. The focus will be on factors such as personal collaboration, social contacts and exchange in the workplace. (ah)
