Liechtenstein: Hilti completes new office building
Construction equipment manufacturer Hilti has completed the North Office Building at its headquarters in Schaan. The new building is part of a large-scale modernisation of the group's headquarters.

According to a Hilti statement, the new building houses around 450 workstations on four floors, as well as the company restaurant "Heats" and a fitness room for group training. The spatial concept of the office areas has been designed according to new findings, according to Hilti: "Open space" office areas are supplemented by meeting zones and retreat areas for focused work.
The North Office Building is certified according to the Minergie-P standard. Hilti also reports that waste heat from production and other buildings, which are linked together in a heating network, is used for heating. The need for drinking water has also been reduced: Rainwater is used for flushing toilets and watering the outdoor areas. 100% of the electricity in the new building is supplied from renewable sources.
The first employees moved into the new office building at the beginning of September. Once the move is complete, Hilti intends to initiate the final stages in the modernization of its corporate headquarters. From the end of November, the old "North" office complex will be demolished, after which the "Campus Park" with green spaces and recreational areas will be completed on this part of the site. According to current plans, the entire Hilti Campus should be completed by May 2023. (ah)
