The background to the sale is an optimisation of the property portfolio, the company says. The transaction comprises two office buildings and an adjacent plot of land. At the same time as the sale, Kudelski has leased back the office space on a long-term basis. The purchasers of the property are a group of investors comprising members of the Kudelski family, another long-time shareholder of the company, the Kudelski pension fund and Nagravision, the company said.

In October 2021, Kudelski had already concluded a sale and leaseback transaction for an office property on Chemin de la Chapelle in Lausanne. The sale price was CHF 19 million. (ah)
