Basel: Government wants 33% non-profit apartments on transformation sites

In order to take the wind out of the sails of an initiative, the Basel government council has submitted a counter-proposal on the subject of non-profit housing construction on transformation sites. According to this proposal, a third of the new apartments on former industrial sites are to be rented out at cost.
