Halter: Reinforcement for the developer business

Kurt Ernst Baumann will strengthen the Halter Developments business unit as Head of Development and member of the Executive Board as of 1 May 2022, the company says. Baumann is to assume responsibility for the developer function in the projects of the company's own developer cooperative "Wir sind Stadtgarten".

Following the Huebergass pilot project in Bern, Halter plans to implement several urban residential quarters for new tenant cooperatives in the coming years. The company is convinced that the development and financing model of "Wir sind Stadtgarten" with pure cost rents optimized over the life cycle enables sustainably reduced housing costs and the implementation of innovative residential and communal areas.

Baumann has been Head of Real Estate Projects Switzerland and a member of the Executive Board at Helvetia Insurance for more than ten years; before that he worked for nine years as Head of Construction Management at Migros Pension Fund. The HTL architect has completed various further training courses in the fields of economics and real estate management. (ah)
