Ecoreal: Board of Trustees strengthened
The Ecoreal Investors' Meeting elected Franziska Bur Bürgin, Sabine Rindisbacher Hösli and Dieter Marmet as new members of the Foundation Board.
The lawyer and tax expert Franziska Bur Bürgin is the founder and owner of Basel Legal GmbH. She specializes in foundation law, occupational pensions and taxes, was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BVG and Foundation Supervisory Authority of the Canton of Aargau until 2020 and shares her experience in lectures and seminars.
Sabine Rindisbacher Hösli, Dr. iur. and attorney, is legal counsel for the Investment Division of the Pension Fund of the City of Zurich. She has experience in the management of investment foundations. Since 2020, she is a member of the technical working group "Sustainability Finance - Transparency and Due Diligence" of the FDF - State Secretariat for International Financial Matters.
Dieter Marmet, lic. oec. publ. economist, is an independent entrepreneur and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intershop Holding AG, Real Estate Digital AG (Realmatch 360) and SI Stradum Immobilien AG as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Rekali AG. He acquired his real estate expertise at Wüest Partner AG from 1994 to 2010 (from 1999 as Partner and from 2005 as Managing Partner).
The current members of the Board of Trustees Jürg Häusler (Chairman), Christian Felix (Vice Chairman), Bruno Christen and Riccardo Wahlenmayer were confirmed in office.
Following a successful fiscal year 20/21, Ecoreal Swiss Real Estate Investment Foundation believes it is well positioned for the future. The two annual accounts of the Suissecore Plus and Suisseselect investment groups recorded significantly improved investment returns in fiscal year 2020/21. Suisseselect recorded an increase from 4.36% in the previous year to 5.56%. Suissecore Plus almost doubled from 3.38% to 6.18%. (bw)
