Peter Lehmann (born 1958) succeeds Dr. Markus Kellenberger as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Plazza, who will relinquish office at the next General Meeting at the beginning of April. Lehmann held various management positions at Swiss Prime Site (SPS) for more than 20 years until the end of 2019. He was a member of the Group Executive Board from 2001, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swiss Prime Site Immobilien AG from 2015. During his time at SPS, the real estate expert was responsible for numerous projects, including the development of the Maag site with the Prime Tower in Zurich. Lehmann will continue to work for SPS as an independent consultant on individual projects until the end of March 2022.
The Board of Directors of Plazza proposes to the shareholders the election of Lehmann as the new Chairman of the Board. With his experience and strategic knowledge of real estate issues, he is the ideal addition in view of the upcoming project developments in Crissier and Regensdorf, the board says. Outgoing BoD Chairman Kellenberger also said he supported the proposal to hand over the business to Lehmann.
Lehmann is to be elected at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 6.
Plazza also announces that Franziska Kunz (born 1985) will become a member of the Executive Board as of February 1, 2022, which will once again consist of three people: In addition to Kunz, these are CEO/CFO Thomas Casata and Marcel Gilgen, Head of Project Development. Kunz has been Head of Property Management and Portfolio at Plazza since November 2021; previously, she was Head of Marketing and a member of the Executive Board at Verit Immobilien. (ah)
