Thomas Aebischer, Dipl. Betriebs- u. Produktions-Ing. ETH, succeeds Claude Ebnöther as CEO of Cham Group, who took the helm of the real estate developer on an interim basis last October after predecessor Andreas Friederich left Cham Group. Claude Ebnöther will from now on again focus on his function as a member of the Board of Directors.

With the completion of the first construction phase at the end of 2022, Papieri will reach a milestone - and Thomas Aebischer has the right skills to focus on the next phase of Papieri's development, according to the Board of Directors of Cham Group AG. Aebischer, who has been managing director of several real estate companies of the Knecht Group for more than eight years, has extensive experience in site development, planning and construction of large commercial and residential properties and is also familiar with their management and marketing as well as with the acquisition and support of tenants. Previously, he had successfully built up a technology start-up, among other things.

In the course of filling the new CEO position, it was decided to expand the Executive Board of Cham Group from two to five members. In addition to the CEO and CFO Daniel Grab, the division heads Roland Regli (Realization), Lukas Fehr (Development, Deputy CEO), and William White (Site and Asset Management) were additionally appointed to the Executive Board as of March 1, 2022.
