Michael Loose will take up his new position as General Manager at La Foncière on March 31, 2022. He succeeds in office Arnaud de Jamblinne, who served as General Manager for 25 years and was responsible for the services of the Lausanne-based investment manager Investissements Fonciers and the successful development of the La Foncière investment fund: the market capitalization of the Swiss real estate investment fund, founded in 1954, now exceeds CHF 2 billion.

Michael Loose, a graduate architect from EPFL, has held various management positions in the real estate sector in Switzerland and abroad, most recently as Managing Director at Prime Living Management. Previously, he worked for Siemens, UBS, SBB and Coldwell Banker.

"Working with Mr. Thomas Vonaesch, the director in charge of managing the real estate portfolio, Michael Loose will have all the skills and support necessary to continue the strategy successfully led by Arnaud de Jamblinne for almost 25 years," said Albert Michel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investissements Fonciers SA, on the occasion of the election of Arnaud de Jamblinne's successor last fall: "Michael Loose will be able to further develop our company and La Foncière and build them into a leading center of excellence in the field of real estate investment funds in Switzerland."

As of April 1, 2022, the management of Investissements Fonciers SA will be composed as follows: Michael Loose, General Manager, Thomas Vonaesch, Director Portfolio Management, Jean-Marie Pilloud, Director responsible for Finance and Accounting. (bw)
