New Managing Director for Horwath HTL Switzerland
Andrea Jörger becomes the new Managing Partner of the Swiss office of the international consulting brand Horwath HTL.
Andrea Jörger, MRICS, replaces Heinz Wehrle, who is retiring after 15 years with Horwath HTL - first in Austria and then in Zug as Managing Director of Horwath HTL Switzerland. Heinz will continue his teaching activities at the Ecole Hotelier du Lausanne and work on other projects.
According to Horwarth HTL, Jörger will join the newly established Horwath HTL DACH team, which will serve the Swiss, Austrian and German markets. He is to work closely with Christian Buer in Frankfurt and Birgitte Gruber in Vienna. The Swiss office will move from Zug to Zurich and will be located at Hardtumstrasse 181 in Zurich.
Jörger joins Horwath HTL after a successful career in the hotel and real estate industry. His roles have included General Manager of the Hotel Palace in Lucerne, Senior VP of The Circle at Zurich Airport and several years as a consultant focusing on mixed-use real estate development. For the last six years, he was Managing Director of the Swiss branch with four operations of an international operator. The last two years as Chief Development Officer responsible for the development of the group in Europe.
With 52 offices worldwide, Horwath HTL is considered the largest global consulting firm for the hotel, tourism and leisure industries. (bw)
