Nova Property strengthens its presence in Western Switzerland
Michel Burgunder will become Managing Director Western Switzerland and Co-Head of Transactions at Nova Property Fund Management as of June.
As Managing Director Western Switzerland and Co-Head of Transactions at Nova Property Fund Management, Michel Burgunder will be responsible in particular for acquisition activities in this part of the country, according to the real estate company. This includes acquisitions of new portfolio properties, development projects and building land, but also contributions in kind, asset swaps or asset and share deals for the current real estate portfolios. He will be "instrumental in further driving the objectives and growth in Western Switzerland," the company said.
Michel Burgunder joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management (Switzerland) AG's Global Real Estate, where the 48-year-old was Director Acquisition for Western Switzerland since 2018. Prior to that, he worked for Vaudoise Assurances, Steiner AG, Bouygues Immobilier and Losinger Marazzi. Overall, Burgunder brings a good 20 years of experience in the Swiss and international real estate market, Nova Property said. (ah)
