New head of real estate at Zurich Airport
Lydia Naef will take over the position of Chief Real Estate Officer at Flughafen Zürich AG in September. She succeeds Daniel Scheifele, who is leaving the airport company to become CEO of Rapp AG.
As the new Head of Real Estate and a member of the Executive Board, Lydia Naef will assume responsibility for all of the airport's real estate over the entire life cycle - from strategic planning to development and construction to operation, Flughafen Zürich AG announced. The 40-year-old has been with the airport company for more than ten years. She is currently head of Property & Portfolio Management and deputy to the current Head of Real Estate. Prior to that, she worked for Reso Partners and Halter.
Naef will take over the new function as Chief Real Estate Officer on September 1. She succeeds Daniel Scheifele, who is leaving Flughafen Zürich AG at the end of August after six years. He will become CEO of Rapp AG. His tenure included construction projects such as the expansion of landside passenger areas, the extension of the baggage sorting facility and the construction and commissioning of the Circle, as well as the acquisition of the Priora building park.
