New addition to the Avobis Board of Directors
Hansueli Loosli, former CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Coop Group, is a new member of the Board of Directors of Avobis Group.
Real estate and mortgage services provider Avobis has recruited Hansueli Loosli to its Board of Directors. Loosli served as CEO for the Coop Group for 15 years, then as chairman of the board for another ten years. He also chaired the Board of Directors of Swisscom from 2011 to 2021. Loosli currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transgourmet Holding and Pilatus Flugzeugwerke. Among other awards, he received the SwissAward for entrepreneurship in 2003 and was named Swiss Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010.
Thomas Abegg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Avobis Group, says that Loosli brings with him great strategic experience and versatile competence to position a company for the future and to lead it to success with innovative strength and networked thinking. The entrepreneur is a valuable addition to the current board.
Loosli says he wants to contribute his experience in particular in the areas of customer and market focus, innovation and platform approach. Within the Board of Directors, he will chair the Customer and Market Committee and thus be responsible for the strategic development of the market and the management of major partnerships.
The Board of Directors of the Avobis Group now consists of Thomas Abegg (Chairman), Kurt Birchler, Stefan Gautschi, Hansueli Loosli, Dr. Christoph Schmid and Isabelle Welton. (ah)
