Immobilien Stadt Zürich with new director

Jennifer Dreyer is responsible for the management of 1800 properties of the city of Zurich as of November. She succeeds Cornelia Mächler, who headed IMMO for the past 17 years.

Zurich City Council has elected Jennifer Dreyer (48) as the new director of Immobilien Stadt Zürich (IMMO). Dreyer, who holds a doctorate in civil and industrial engineering, will take up her post in November. Dreyer grew up in Giessen, Hesse, and studied in Darmstadt, Stuttgart and Zurich. She has already been working for IMMO since 2016; initially she did so as Head of Staff, and since 2019 as Head of the newly established School Buildings division and Deputy Director. Previously, she was a member of the management board at WIFPartner in Zurich, a consulting firm for maintenance management in building construction and civil engineering.

Dreyer succeeds Cornelia Mächler, who will focus on managing major strategic projects in the future. Mächler has presided over IMMO for the past 17 years. "Today, IMMO is one of the leading public owners' associations in Switzerland.
