Frutiger appoints Werner Karlen to the Board of Directors

This year's Annual General Meeting of Frutiger Group elected Werner Karlen to the Board of Directors. Karlen, who holds a doctorate in economics, has been CEO at building automation specialist Fr. Sauter AG in Basel since 2015. Since April 2020, he has also held an independent directorship at the Geberit Group. In his professional career, he has worked for McKinsey & Company, Biella-Neher, Phoenix Mecano and the Schulthess Group, among others.

Frutiger is a construction group and real estate developer with annual sales of over CHF 800 million and 2,700 employees. The group comprises 23 companies. The company is headquartered in Thun. (aw)
