Empira appoints Global Head of Investment Management
Markus Königstein takes over the newly created position of Global Head of Investment Management at Empira Group. He most recently headed the real estate division at R+V Versicherungsgruppe.
Markus Königstein MRICS is to drive the internationalization of investments in the main markets of the DACH region and the USA as Global Head of Investment Management at the Empira Group, according to the Zug-based investment manager.
Königstein has been in the industry for 28 years, most recently working at the German R+V insurance group as head of real estate and infrastructure since 2003. According to Lahcen Knapp, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Empira Group, Königstein has been responsible for a portfolio worth a good ten billion euros in the equity and debt sector. (ah)
