Wincasa: Christophe Chatelet heads the Construction Management division
Chatelet (56) moves up to the Wincasa management team and takes over the Construction Management department on January 1, which will henceforth be managed independently alongside Facility Management.
The previous Construction & Facility Management (CFM) division is being restructured at Wincasa. The Strategy & Sustainability, CAFM and Strategic Facility Management departments will in future be located in the Solutions & Innovations department of Jörg Engeler. The reason for this is the different focus of the two specialties: Construction Management focuses strongly on the actual construction of a property with owner's trust and construction management - while Facility Management as well as Strategy and Sustainability are closer to operations, as Wincasa explains. For this reason, the new division will become a pure construction department and will be called Construction Management.
"I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Christophe Chatelet, a Frenchman and experienced expert, to head the Construction Management division," says CEO Oliver Hofmann. Chatelet, an architect, has been responsible for client fiduciary services and construction management in Suisse Romande as regional manager since the beginning of this year. Since April 2018, he has held various positions at Wincasa - including project and team manager BHT East Central and KAM Construction. Prior to that, he worked, among other things, as a project manager in the real estate department of SRG and, between 2000 and 2002, as the planning architect for the Biel Congress Center for Expo02.
