Urs Peter Gauch joins the Board of Directors of HRS Holding AG. The 62-year-old finance and risk expert succeeds Barend Fruithof, who has been a member of the board since 2016. With the election of Gauch, the competencies in the areas of finance and risk management as well as in the management of large organizational units are strengthened on the Board of Directors, HRS says.

Gauch is Chairman of Fundamenta Group Holding and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fribourg Cantonal Bank, and also chairs the Board of Esisuisse, the Swiss banks' deposit guarantee scheme. He is also active in other companies as an independent board member. Until the end of 2021, Gauch worked at Raiffeisen Schweiz Genossenschaft, where he headed the Corporate Clients Department and was a member of the Executive Board, among other positions. Prior to that, he worked for Credit Suisse for more than 30 years, including as Head of Corporate Clients Switzerland.

With Gauch's joining, the HRS Board of Directors now consists of Roland Eberle (Chairman), Martin Kull (Vice Chairman and Delegate of the Board of Directors), Rebecca Kull, Ernst Schär, Andreas Rickenbacher, Fabian Hotz, and Urs Peter Gauch. (ah)
