CSAM appoints new Head of Acqusition & Sales Real Estate Switzerland
Hans Jürg Scheidegger has been appointed Head of Acquisition & Sales Real Estate Switzerland at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM). He had already held the position on an interim basis.

Credit Suisse Asset Management has appointed Hans Jürg Scheidegger, Betriebsökonom FH, as Head of Acquisition & Sales Real Estate Switzerland, having previously held this position on an interim basis. Scheidegger, who joined Acquisition & Sales Real Estate Switzerland at Credit Suisse Asset Management in 2007 and has served as Head of Acquisition Real Estate Switzerland since 2019, reports to the Head of Real Estate Switzerland, for which Ulrich Braun and Silvio Preisig are currently jointly responsible on an ad interim basis.
Dominik Kälin, an architect with a degree in HTL and an EMBA in business administration, has succeeded Hans Jürg Scheidegger as Head of Acquisition in the Acquisition & Sales Real Estate Switzerland division. According to Credit Suisse Asset Management, Kälin has also been working for Credit Suisse since 2007. With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector and "a comprehensive knowledge of Swiss real estate transactions, valuations as well as the legislation of the sector", Kälin brings with him the prerequisites to "continue to successfully position the division in the market".
Zhe real estate business of Credit Suisse Asset Management (Switzerland) includes both direct and indirect investment solutions. The subsidiary of the major bank Credit Suisse is one of the largest managers of direct real estate investments in Switzerland and, with assets under management of around CHF 40 billion (January 31, 2023), one of the 15 largest providers worldwide.
