Hasenmaile is still Head of Real Estate Economics and Managing Director at Credit Suisse. As such, he has been responsible for the bank's real estate research since 2006. His era at Credit Suisse - in various positions - lasted a total of 20 years.

"We are delighted to have Fredy Hasenmaile as our Chief Economist, a distinguished economist and again a proven expert on the Swiss real estate market," says Roger Reist, Head of Corporate Clients, Treasury & Markets at Raiffeisen Switzerland. "I am convinced that with his experience, his analytical skills and his feel for trends, he will successfully further develop Raiffeisen Switzerland's Economic Research."

That Hasenmaile is leaving Credit Suisse, had become known only a few days ago. (aw)
