Swiss Life Asset Managers: Change in the top management

Holger Matheis (FRICS) is to become the new CEO of Swiss Life Asset Managers in Germany. The former Spokesman of the Executive Board of Beos AG succeeds Per Erikson, who will take on new responsibilities in Zurich as Head Real Estate for Swiss Life Asset Managers. The change will take place on July 1, 2023.

Holger Matheis (FRICS) has been working for Beos AG, which is part of the Swiss Life Group, since 2006, has been a member of the Board of Management since 2016 and Spokesman of the Board of Management since 2021. There he is responsible for Project Development & Construction Management, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing & Communications, Compliance and Business Transformation as well as the Beos location in Frankfurt. After studying architecture and subsequently working for various architectural firms, Matheis completed the contact study Real Estate Economics at the European Business School in 2003; he lectures at several universities, including the IREBS Real Estate Academy, the DVFA and the HTW Berlin. "As a board member of Beos AG, I have already been in regular exchange with the management of Swiss Life Asset Managers in Germany and also with Per Erikson," says Matheis.

"We have celebrated great successes together in recent years and have grown ever closer together as a company in Germany," says Per Erikson, the new Head of Real Estate at Swiss Life Asset Managers. After almost three and a half years in his role as CEO, he says it is "a very deliberate move for him to my new position as Head Real Estate in Zurich." (bw)
