Vebego COO Giuseppe Santagada becomes CEO of the Erne Group
Giuseppe Santagada, Group COO and Delegate of the Board of Directors of Vebego's activities in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, will assume the role of CEO of the Erne Group at the beginning of 2024.
At Erne, Santagada replaces Wolfgang Schwarzenbacher, who has been CEO of the Laufenburg-based company for the past four years. He is stepping down at the end of the year to pursue a new professional direction, the Erne Group announced. During his tenure, he has built up the Group Management and driven forward the development of a future-oriented organization.
Santagada (49) has been Group COO on the Executive Board of Vebego Group B.V. since 2020. Prior to this, he was CEO of Vebego Schweiz Holding, which focuses on real estate and facility management.
The Erne Group is a family-owned Swiss construction group with a turnover of CHF 500 million. It employs 1,200 people at 22 locations. The company offers structural and civil engineering, conversion, complete services, timber construction, modular and element construction as well as building materials.
