Oliver Stihl will start as CEO of Xania Real Estate on 1 September. According to the company, it has completed ten construction projects with around 70 apartments since it was founded less than a year and a half ago and has a pipeline of 60 projects with a potential of around 600 apartments in the approval or development phase.

The 48-year-old Stihl is an architect and is currently Managing Director of Müller+Partner AG Architekten in Stein am Rhein. He is also a partner and member of the Board of Directors at Hoch3 Baumanagement AG.

So far, Xania has mainly focused on the city of Zurich and the surrounding area. "Soon, however, founder Thomas Prajer will also be present in other Swiss cities such as Basel and Lucerne, where he will cooperate with local partner companies," the company announced in a press release.

As a real estate developer, Xania says it focuses on luxurious replacement buildings in urban environments. The company works with Daniele and Elza Pellettieri from Pellettieri Immobilien AG to market its own real estate projects. The marketing idea of offering a Porsche car as a free addition to the condominium recently attracted media attention. (aw)
