Place B: Self-storage specialist with 3 new board members
The founder of self-storage provider Place B is moving to the Board of Directors. The former Head of Real Estate Switzerland at Swiss Live Asset Managers has also been appointed to the Board of Directors.
Terry Fehlmann, founder and former CEO of Place B AG, a provider of self-storage facilities, will take over the Chairman's seat on the Board of Directors. After more than nine years in management, he is handing over the reins of the more than 40 locations to his long-time colleague and former co-CEO Tobias Kaufmann. Fehlmann will continue to be available as a consultant, it is reported. Renato Piffaretti is also joining the Board of Directors. He was Head Real Estate Switzerland at Swiss Live Asset Managers from 2017 to July 2022. IT expert Ramun Hofmann, CEO of 89grad and FabLab Bern, will also join the Board.
Up to 30 new locations planned
The Board of Directors of Place B AG is now composed as follows: Terry Fehlmann (Chairman), Hugo Rohner (Vice Chairman), Dominique Fehlmann, Bruno Frieden, Ramun Hofmann, Renato Piffaretti and Florian Rahmann. The company plans to open 20 to 30 additional locations over the next two years. (aw)
