SBB Real Estate: Bertrand Willi new Head of Facility Management
As of November 1, 2023, Bertrand Willi has taken over as Head of Facility Management, which he has already managed ad interim since July 2023, and will thus also become a member of the Executive Board of SBB Real Estate.
Bertrand Willi succeeded Beatrice Bichsel, who took over as Head of SBB Real Estate at the beginning of September 2023, on 1 November. Willi, 48, holds a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management from the Lausanne Hotel Management School, the Foundations for Business Leadership course at IMD Lausanne and a CAS in Adult Education IFFP. Before joining SBB, he managed various projects in Switzerland and abroad. He has been Head of Facility Management Cleaning at SBB Real Estate since 2021.
In his new role as Head of Facility Management (IM-FM), Bertrand Willi is responsible for cleanliness and safety at around 800 railroad stations and in SBB's more than 3,000 buildings. The service portfolio also includes the operation, maintenance and repair of the technical systems in the buildings. (aw)
