Warteck Invest gets a new Chairman of the Board of Directors

Marcel Rohner, the long-standing Chairman of the Board of Directors, is not standing for re-election. Kurt Ritz is to be his successor.

There will be changes to the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting of Warteck Invest on May 29, 2024: Chairman of the Board of Directors Marcel Rohner will not be standing for re-election to the Board after 14 years of service. Kurt Ritz, a current member of the Board of Directors, will be proposed to the Annual General Meeting as the new Chairman.

Marcel Rohner has been a member of the Board of Directors of the real estate company since 2011 and has been Chairman since 2019. During his term of office, the real estate portfolio was optimized and expanded and a sustainability strategy was developed and implemented.

Kurt Ritz has been a member of the Board of Directors of Warteck Invest since 2019. He held various management positions at PwC from 1995 to 2019 and was a partner from 2004. Since April 2019, he has served as an independent, professional member of the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and as a member of investment committees. Among other things, he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Intershop Holding and a member of the Investment Committee of BVK Personalvorsorge des Kantons Zürich. (ah)
